When a child begins to grow, his first duty at home is quite often the feeding of fish. In a sense, this task becomes symbolic, however, and this work can now be shifted onto the shoulders of robots, and specifically the model, dubbed FIFER. The device FIFER is something much more serious than a device for feeding fish. It moves with a certain similarity of jet engines, and when the time comes, the robot emits a special sound that attracts pets. Moreover, the device calculates the density of fish in the aquarium and on the basis of the obtained data, selects the proper amount of food in accordance with the number of heads and the water temperature.
FIFER can move along a given trajectory, which allows to feed only certain groups of individuals, and when the tank becomes empty, the robot swims to the edge of the aquarium and is waiting patiently filling food. Today, this product is only a concept, design and technical details have not yet announced, but one can hardly doubt that he has all chances to win market share.
